The Tiny 4″ Blunt Tipped Scissors are used to safely trim hair from in and around your dog’s ears. Perfect for trimming around your dog’s eyes too. Dogs that naturally grow profuse facial hair are especially prone to ear infections brought on by the moisture heavy hair growth holds in the ears. This creates the perfect warm, moist environment that produces bacterial ear infections as shown in Middle image to left. A few examples of these breeds are: Airedale Terrier, Schnauzer, Kerry Blue Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Bichon Frise, Poodle (All varieties), Bedlington Terrier, Portuguese Water Dog.
